Those of you who like to go someplace or do something after yelling yourself hoarse at a football game will get your opportunity tonight. The Wilson Theater has announced a special showing of the rip-roaring comedy of the days when men were men and such: Texas Rangers, which will start at 10:30 tonight. The whole show, including short subjects, is promised if you enter at that time.
Just in case any of you happened to be listening to Roger Pryor and Ann Southern in the play There’s Always Juliet on the radio last Saturday night, you might remember Roger’s line in the play when he asked Ann to marry him. But the backstage part you probably didn’t know about was that less than one hour later, they did get married. If you could only have known at the time that he didn’t have to act during that scene.
This young fellow, Pete Walsh, who is going to act as guest M.C. for the stage show at that Junior Reporter Club show at the Wilson tomorrow morning has quite a reputation around his home town of Pittsburgh. Pete, while only eighteen, has danced his way around a goodly section of the country and has appeared in several short features. He should help put that show over tomorrow morning and have the local Junior Reporters cheering.
